72 kg CO₂/m²
Most carbon ever sequestered in a road? Until our next test at least...
Elgsjøveien
Our secret test-base
Deep in the forests of Norway we have just broken a world record. We have sequestered 72 kilograms of CO2 pr SQM road. How is this possible you might ask? We are not going to tell you, but we might be able to show you once we are ready to come out of our “skunk works” -wood shed. Or as we call it Carbon Crusher AdAstra.
Earlier this year we hoped we could sequester 10 kg C02 per sqm. Now we are reaching 72 kg in an early test. And it looks like the effects on the road are even better, stronger and more resilient than we had ever hoped for. So for us to adopt the AdAstra to our test side is not a cliché, it is an ambition. It is what our talented and aligned organisation is aiming for: A sustainable path to the future, to the stars and beyond.
